Parish School of Religion

We have an excellent religious education offering for the children of our parishes.  I would like to welcome, invite and encourage you and your child(ren) to become part of our Catholic Faith Formation Program (CFF) for children. All children Kindergarten through 8^th grade are invited to participate whether they are home schooled, attend public school or Catholic school.

As Catechists, we hope to provide support and encouragement to all parents in our parishes as they bring their children to love and serve the Lord.

Our Catechists are trained and screened through our diocesan certification program and child protection policies.   Each Catechist brings a wealth of knowledge of their faith and desire to share their faith with our children.

DID YOU KNOW?

— We are never finished learning about our faith!!! (Check our CFF program for Adults.)

— Sacramental Preparation (Catechesis) for First Penance – First Communion – and Confirmation begins in Kindergarten

— First Penance & First Communion are celebrated in Grade 2

— Confirmation is celebrated in Grade 5

— Catechesis for these sacraments continues after each grade through high school.

— All children in grades K – 12 should be catechized in one of the Catholic Faith Formation Programs – our Catholic Schools – or a home school program approved by the Pastor and /or DRE.

— All adults are encouraged to continue their Catholic Faith Formation through the several programs offered in our parishes.
