Education, Faith and Formation Committee
This committee was one of five that was established under the Steubenville Task Force Pastoral Plan: Renewing the Church in Steubenville. The decree was given by The Most Reverend R. Daniel Conlon on July 25, 2005 and it became effective on August 6, 2005.
The committee in its original efforts was to consolidate and integrate programs of the three parishes into a unified and effective form of ministry. This included parish ministry, Catholic Schools and home school programs.
Today this committee continues to seek integration of programs and ministries of not only the Steubenville parishes but most recently including some aspects of the Wintersville parishes. This committee has oversight of the programs listed as Catholic Faith Formation for the parishes of Steubenville and Wintersville.
Current members are: Tracy Almeida, Stephen Lewis, Drake McCalister, Andrew Minto, Joshua Miller, Fr. Thomas Nau (Pastors Representative), Nancy Schreck, Paul Ward, and Barbara VanBeveren (DRE)
Catholic Faith Formation consists of all religious education offerings available to the young and old, in the parishes of Steubenville: Triumph of the Cross, Holy Family, St. Peter, and Wintersville: Blessed Sacrament and Our Lady of Lourdes.
